Akarmak supplied its user friendly and durable steam-based medical waste autoclaves to its customers in Jordan. The equipment consisted of smaller size hospital-type AKR1000L and high capacity AKR2500L centralized pre-autoclave shredding (ie: shredder integrated) technology equipment. While some of the small equipment installations were made before Covid including at one of the biggest and well-known hospital complexes in the Middle East, King Abdullah University Hospital, in the capital city of Amman, the large size AKR2500L installation was just at the right time for Jordan to sterilize Covid infected biomedical waste. Durability of Akarmak technology allowed the equipment to function in almost 24-hour operations during the busiest and most challenging days of Covid. Our installations included compressors and steam generators, which allowed Akarmak to set up the systems as turn-key in Jordan.

The environmental friendly and fully automatic AKR1000L and AKR2500L machines meeting 8log10 sterilization levels have been successfully operating in the country, and once again Akarmak is pleased to see its proven technology and happy customers.
